Abstract

The fires have been acknowledged like one of the principal causes that the loss of the forests, terrestrial ecosystems of great importance provoke, you did not sole for the man but also for another living beings that depend on them for his subsistence. Precisely they are I join the fuels of the elements that they integrate so much the triangle of the combustion like the one belonging to propagation, for this reason going into his characteristics is of great importance, being an one belonging to them inflammability. Studies on inflammability of vegetable sorts, which do not exist to the present time in Cuba they would be able to contribute of the basic activities of handling of the fire, because they offer the possibility to circumscribe zones with different risk, what you can vary, for some sorts, during the year to the perfecting. The general objective of this work was to evaluate the yearly distribution of the inflammability of some vegetable sorts of the ecosystem of pine groves in mail with the above. Signs were collected every month during the period November 2010 between the 10:15 and the 11:15 hours October 2011. For the determination of the grade of inflammability of fuels, the method described by Elvira and Hernando (1989) and Hernando was utilized (2000 and 2009). Enter another results it can be mentioned that the minor times of average inflammation that were obtained correspond themselves with the period November February, being the sort with minor blended value for this variable during the year the Clidemiahirta. The bigger blended value got for the case correifolia from the Rondeletia itself.
