Floristic characterization of an area of semi-deciduous forest of Guanahacabibes, municipality Sandino, Pinar del Río

Abstract
The investigation was carried out in a forest natural semidecíduo on calcareous floor, belonging to the rodal 1, lot 28 of the Unit Silvícola Cortés in the Company Forest Integral of Guanahacabibes, of the municipality Sandino, Pinegrove of the River, with the objective of characterizing florísticamente the forest semidecíduo. For the rising of the parcels an aleatory design was used, with a total of twelve square parcels of 100 m2 where the variable dasométricas diameter and height were measured. In three parcels the glass radius and the coordinates of each tree were measured, for the analysis of the vertical and horizontal structure of the species that are in forest. The diversity alpha and beta and the index of value of ecological importance were also determined (IVIE). The parcels were ordered in a chart fitocenológica by their likeness while the species starting from the IVEI. As a result they were identified a total of 34 species belonging to 22 families, with a species prevalence Microfanerofitas. The effects of the identified interferences were the absence of class superior diametric in the species of economic value, the illicit extraction of woods species and the presence of clear in the forests.
