Abstract
In the period of January 23 at February 9, a study of the flora of a fragment of the forest semicaducifolio was made it has more than enough dog teeth in the peninsula o Guanahacabibes, in the municipality of Sandino, town of Manuel Ropes county of Pinegrove of the River. In an area of 11,57 there is he/she got up 12 parcels. The gathered botanical samples were identified and taken to herbarium. The studied area revealed us a forest in its three strata that are: arboreal stratum, arbustivo and herbaceous. It was identified 587 individuals with more diameters or similar to 2 cm, distributed in 15 families and 18 species. Inside the families the most representative were Juglandaceae, Sapotaceae, Sapindaceae and Cesalpinaceae. It was also calculated the different parameters fitocenológicos and indexes of value of importance of the species (IVIE). With the taken data of Isabel's Blonde meteorological station the climate type was determined according to the system bioclimático of Gaussen, the area has a climate of type termoxerochiménico. The floor is calcareous of skeletal yellowish reddish color, with a very low percent of organic matter. With the deforestation and the urbanization (the construction of a point of production of the coal and of houses) as the main processes of degradation of the floor in the area.
