Damages and benefits caused by Bubalus bubalis in the Managerial Unit of Base Caobilla

Abstract

The present research was carried out in the Managerial Unit of Base Caobilla belonging to the Company Cattle Tip of Palm with the objective of determining the damages and benefits derived by the presence of Bubalus bubalis in the same one. For this end the data coming from the department of economy of the company were used, with which a characterization of the species was made under the conditions of the same one, being determined the quantity of you snort them in I milk, the liters for you snort her, the quantity of animals that you/they are sacrificed, its total weight and average. The damages and benefits caused by the species in the area in the period 2009-2012 was quantified. He/she intended some measures for the handling of the species in the area. The species showed good development in the study area, the damages reported in the analyzed period were not significant, while the economic indicators were favorable.
