Model for a strategic management for production of charcoal in the Pinar del Rio’s Integral Forest Company by linear programming
Main Article Content
Abstract
This aim of the study was to develop a model for the strategic management of the production of charcoal in the Pinar del Rio´s integral forestry company by linear programming and software Win QSV in order to maximize profits and promote the management of the production process charcoal. It was taken primary information on charcoal production of this company in 2013 for domestic and international markets. The results indicate that the mathematical-economic model is an effective tool for planning the production of charcoal in the company, allowing the projection of the potential of charcoal production to achieve maximum profit from optimal output volume aimed for the two markets. It´s proposed a group of actions that will optimize long-term sustainable production process of charcoal.
