Abstract

The experiment was carried out in the root area of the Base Business Unit, UEB «Crop Houses», belonging to the "Enrique Troncoso" Citrus Company, located at kilometer eight, road to La Coloma, Pinar del Río municipality. The effect of environmentally friendly alternatives for the control of Meloidogyne spp. Was evaluated in farm houses; They were also considered indicators of growth in tomato seedlings. Five treatments were used on soil infested by Meloidogyne spp., From a house of culture. The treatments were Trichoderma, Nim (Azadirachta indica A. Juss.), Trichoderma + Nim, control (without treatment) and reference control (chemical disinfection with Agrocelhone). 4.0 kg pots were used. of soil, with the use of doses of 30 ml kg-1 and 16 g kg-1 for Trichoderma and Nim, respectively. In all treatments, a significant reduction in the number of galls was obtained by Meloidogyne spp. with respect to the control and showed greater effectiveness in the combined application of Trichoderma and Nim, with which it reduced, in 84%, the infestation with respect to the control, which constitutes an alternative to chemical disinfection with Agrocelhone. The combined application of Trichoderma and Nim showed an increase of more than 25% in the total fresh mass, compared with the chemical treatment, as well as the economic, social and environmental benefits of these management alternatives.
