Service companies in Saudi Arabia are very few and far between. The reason for this is because most of the people who run them do not even live in the kingdom. They travel back and forth from their home countries where they can earn a living, and then they fly back to Saudi Arabia to provide their service there. Not all of these companies do well, though.

One of the biggest problems with most of these companies is their over-supply of manpower. There are simply not enough people in Saudi Arabia to handle the demand for help. There is a limit to how many young men and women there can be in the workforce. Another problem is that these young people have no idea how to go about getting jobs in the first place. They end up working 40 years at a time for little pay, and no benefits.

This lack of awareness among potential workers also contributes to the low percentage of jobs that they are able to get. Many service companies in Saudi Arabia to try to attract local students with scholarships and special training programs. The government gives them money as incentives, promising them good jobs once they graduate. Others try to bribe students into signing contracts with them by promising them good salaries when they leave the country. Some employers get kickbacks from employees who bring new workers to the company, so there is a great incentive to keep these jobs filling up.

Yet another big problem is the lack of experience that many of these young recruits have. They are not trained to work on construction sites or in customer service. Many young graduates never get any real work experience in service businesses. This is a major problem that could be solved by sending more Saudi teenagers abroad to get some real work. A simple solution would be to send them to one of the many colleges and universities in the United States that offer scholarships to students who want to go to other countries to learn.

A college abroad will give the student a chance to see another part of the world and to make new friends. When you get to know someone from another part of the world, you tend to open up your mind. That's something that the student will miss back home. They will probably miss their families as well, but it is important to get away from it all to have an experience that can positively impact their life down the road.

Saudi Arabia is a large oil-producing country that needs more advanced technology to stay competitive in this industry. That means workers there need advanced training. Some service companies in Saudi Arabia just don't have the budget for this type of training. Sending workers home to the United States to get this training makes perfect sense. In fact, it may be the best idea for these companies.

It won't be easy though. Finding workers is not easy and most service companies can't afford to send one person from one country to another. They will have to turn the person loose in the area. The risk of being harmed or even killed may make them decide not to risk it. Sending a qualified employee back to the United States is one less thing they have to worry about in the long run.

Once a worker gets to the United States, some companies may not feel comfortable letting them leave. That is just the way it is for Saudi Arabia. They do not allow companies to have employees on their payroll unless they are family members. That makes it difficult to even think about sending these workers home. If a company sends two employees from another country, they may have to think very carefully before agreeing to do so.
